Two related CPSC fire-hazard recalls on Polaris-built Gravely Atlas JSV 3200, 3400, and 6400 utility vehicles. CPSC 2021 (March 2021): drive belt can break and damage the inner clutch cover assembly and fuel line, causing a fuel leak — ~41,500 combined Polaris/Ariens-Gravely/Bobcat units, MY2020-2021. CPSC 2023: fuel pump outlet connector on the fuel tank can leak near a hot surface — ~12,300 combined units, MY2021/2023. Same SKUs, same distributor (AriensCo for Gravely portion); combined into one bulletin. Free Polaris/Ariens/Gravely dealer inspection and repair.

## Affected machines
About **41,500 combined units** (Polaris / Ariens-Gravely / Bobcat across both recalls) of Polaris-built UTVs distributed under multiple brands. This bulletin covers the **Gravely-branded portion** specifically.
### Affected Gravely models
| Model | CPSC 2021 (drive belt / fuel line) | CPSC 2023 (fuel pump connector) |
|---|---|---|
| Atlas JSV 3200 | MY2020-2021 | (not listed) |
| Atlas JSV 3400 | MY2020-2021 | MY2021 |
| Atlas JSV 6400 | MY2020-2021 | MY2021 and MY2023 |
The Gravely Atlas JSV vehicles have "**Gravely**" stamped on the front grille. Sister Polaris RANGER, Polaris Pro XD, and Bobcat UV34 vehicles share the same Polaris-built platform and have parallel recalls — owners of the Polaris/Bobcat siblings should consult Polaris/Bobcat directly.
## Issue: two related defects on the same population
This bulletin covers **two distinct fuel-system defects** that affected the same Atlas JSV production population. Owners affected by either should address both at the same Gravely dealer visit.
### Defect 1 — Drive belt break damaging clutch cover and fuel line (CPSC March 2021)
The **drive belt can break during operation** and damage the **inner clutch cover assembly and fuel line**, which can result in a fuel leak. Fuel leaking near hot engine components creates a fire hazard.
Recall scope: ~41,500 combined units (Polaris RANGER 1000 / RANGER CREW 1000, ProXD 2000G / 4000G, **Ariens/Gravely JSV3200, JSV3400, JSV6400**, Bobcat UV34 4x4 GAS / UV34 XL GAS).
Production: MY2020-2021 for the Gravely Atlas portion.
### Defect 2 — Fuel pump outlet connector leak (CPSC 2023)
The **fuel pump outlet connector on the fuel tank** can develop a fuel leak. The leak area is in close proximity to a potential ignition source, posing a fire hazard.
Recall scope: ~12,300 combined units (Polaris RANGER 1000 / 1000 Crew / XP 1000 / XP 1000 Crew, Polaris RZR Pro XP, Polaris Pro XD Full-Size Gas, Bobcat UV34 Gas / UV34 XL Gas, **Gravely Atlas JSV 3400 (MY2021), Atlas JSV 6400 (MY2021 and MY2023)**).
Some MY2021 Atlas JSV 3400 / 6400 units were **previously recalled in March 2021 and July 2021** for different hazards (Defect 1 above and other Polaris-side defects). Those units may now be in scope for additional repair under the 2023 recall.
Sold March 2021 through December 2022 for about $13,300 to $37,700.
## What to do
1. Locate the **VIN** on your Atlas JSV.
2. Check your VIN against both recalls:
- CPSC 2021: https://www.polaris.com/en-us/recalls/off-road/ (or call Polaris at 800-765-2747)
- CPSC 2023: same Polaris VIN-lookup tool, plus contact Gravely
3. If your Atlas JSV is in scope for either recall, **stop using it immediately** and store outdoors away from structures.
4. Contact an authorized Gravely dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair. Gravely / AriensCo was contacting registered owners directly at recall time.
5. Call Gravely / AriensCo customer service, or visit https://www.ariensco.com/safetyrecall
## Hazard
Severity is rated **critical** because of the fire risk from fuel leakage on a hot engine.
## Related bulletins
- **TNB02600067** — CPSC 2018 Gravely Atlas JSV 3000 / 6000 cracked exhaust headers. Different generation of Atlas JSV (predecessor SKUs); production windows are adjacent (JSV 3000/6000 = MY2015-2018, JSV 3200/3400/6400 = MY2020+).
The **Polaris-side** recall siblings (Polaris RANGER 1000 / Polaris ProXD / Polaris RZR Pro XP) and the **Bobcat-side** sibling (Bobcat UV34) cover the same Polaris-built defect family on parallel SKUs. Bobcat is in the TractorNuity library but the Bobcat UV34 model rows are not currently present; that sibling bulletin should be created when those models are added.
